G7 is a modern color calibration method developed by Idealliance, designed to ensure consistent visual color across multiple printing technologies—including offset, flexo, gravure, wide-format, and digital. It replaces traditional device-specific tonal adjustments with a gray balance approach using the Neutral Print Density Curve (NPDC).

This enables consistent color appearance across devices, substrates, and inks—ideal for brand color integrity, proof-to-print accuracy, and global production workflows. With over 2,000 certified G7 Master printers worldwide, demand is growing from top-tier brands in packaging and consumer goods.

■ This course goes beyond theory to help participants embed G7 practices in daily print operations:

• How to calibrate press output using NPDC principle
• How to reduce color correction in prepress
• How to improve color consistency across print devices
• How to communicate print expectations using measurable color data

• G7-compliant file preparation tips
• Understanding GRACoL, SWOP, and Fogra print conditions
• Measurement workflows using spectrophotometer, e.g. X-Rite
